They raised my opinion of them slightly.<br /><br />Then I read 'The Sun Says...' column, which is essentially 'VOTE LABOUR AND WE WILL ALL BE POOR AND DIE HORRIBLY.', and my opinion of them returned to normal levels.<br /><br />Still, Becks has done great things for English footy, and this injury does seem to be of the career ending variety. I'm pretty sure I'm on record somewhere, not seeing the point in HD so I'm not a good barometer really.<br /><br />I have seen the glass-less 3D screens hovering around on gadget blogs. <b><i>That</i></b> is the future, when that starts to become affordable and mainstream then I think we'll see a genuine increase. I don't recall many people for instance, taking to HD while the HD-DVD v Blu-Ray battle was ongoing. Why invest in a player that may turn out to be useless. As soon as Toshiba dropped HD-DVD people seemed a lot more willing to invest as it was convenient for them then. Same for 3D - why invest in a 3D capable screen if it will be obsolete in the near future? The fact that if manufacturers push 3D equipment it will make the leap is quite true, actually.
